The Position
The Application Developer position reports to the Company CEO. The position requires interpreting specifications and developing custom applications using the latest Microsoft® technologies. The Application Developer works closely with customers, end users, and senior development staff to ensure needs and requirements are met, and that customers are completely satisfied with their application. Exceptional customer service skills are essential.

The successful candidate will function as the critical technical contact with customers --- and be responsible for the definition and development of applications to satisfy business requirements. Frequent positive interface with customers and senior staff members is essential. This individual will be expected to maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

The Person
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and three plus years of directly related experience, preferably in a consulting environment, with proven technical competence as confirmed by industry certification and experience. The successful candidate must hold MCP (Microsoft® Certified Professional) certification. It is essential to be able to effectively understand customer requests and develop applications to satisfy business needs. The position also requires working with Senior Application Developers regularly to support their work on large, complex projects. Customer service and problem solving skills are essential. The successful candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Multiple projects are underway at any given time, and the position requires switching between projects as needed. The position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation
Compensation is comprised of a base salary with excellent bonus potential and will be negotiated with the successful candidate. Additional components include a full benefits package with 401(k), health, vision and dental insurance as well as mileage reimbursement, continuing education program and paid vacation and sick time.
